About Ora Pearlstein, MD

Ora Pearlstein, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care specialist at Dr. Ora Pearlstein in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City. Dr. Pearlstein has over 20 years of experience and values the patient-physician relationship. Using a membership model, she uses a connected, convenient, collaborative approach that puts patients first.

Dr. Pearlstein earned her bachelor’s degree and graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College in New York City. While there, she received the Constance Von Wahl Award for Excellence in biology.

She went on to receive a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, a hospital of Harvard Medical School.

After being board-certified in internal medicine, she joined the faculty at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. There, she was an assistant clinical professor of medicine and served as a course director for the Introduction to Clinical Practice course for medical students. 

She also worked as a clinician and educator at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, before joining New York University Langone Health in New York City as an assistant clinical professor in internal medicine. 

Dr. Pearlstein enjoys providing patient-centered care to promote exceptional health and well-being in adults of all ages. She’s recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, New York Super Doctor, and Exceptional Woman in Medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Pearlstein enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She welcomes all patients to Dr. Ora Pearlstein and looks forward to caring for them.
